SERVPRO Breaks Ground on 50,000 Square Foot Manteno, Illinois, Facility

KANKAKEE, IL – March 17, 2016 – SERVPRO of Kankakee County, Matteson-Homewood and Chicago Heights/Crete-Beecher announce groundbreaking for a new 50,000 square foot Chicago region service facility in Manteno, IL.

Currently collocated in Bradley, IL, the independently owned and operated franchises of international fire and water cleanup and restoration provider SERVPRO Industries Inc. are expanding to increase service capacity.

Phase 1 construction of the $1.4 million facility – to be located at 1725 Boudreau Road at Manteno’s Diversatech Business Park – is expected to be complete by August.

“SERVPRO’s greenfield development in Manteno will be completed in three phases over a several-year period,” explained Marketing Director Greg Stewart. “Phase 1 is scheduled for 23,000 square feet.”

The company currently employs 36 to serve its commercial and residential customers requiring fire/water restoration, mold and bio remediation, and carpet/tile/upholstery/duct cleaning. “With this new expansion, we certainly anticipate hiring over the next 12 months,” Stewart added.

Locating in the Kankakee County Enterprise Zone renders the company eligible for a 5-year property tax abatement, sales tax exemption on building materials, and other incentives.
