Scholarship Opportunity Through Exelon
Exelon is offering scholarships through their HBCU Corporate Scholars Program for Illinois students pursuing a degree at an accredited HBCU. The deadline to apply is November 12.
In partnership with Exelon Business Services Company, LLC (“Exelon”), the program supports African American students attending HBCUs by providing four years of scholarship assistance, summer internship opportunities, and early-career readiness support to prepare for rewarding careers at Exelon and within the energy industry.

Program Components
-Opportunity to apply for Exelon Summer Internships
**Up to $25,000 initial need-based scholarship. Renewable for 3 years up to $100,000.00
-Selected Interns attend UNCF Student Leadership Conference
Eligibility Requirements
-Be a citizen, national, permanent resident or designated DACA (“Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals”)
recipient of the U.S.
-Possess a minimum cumulative high school grade point average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
-Be currently enrolled as a college freshman attending a four-year, accredited, historically black college
or university (“HBCU”)
-Be enrolled full-time as a freshman (at time of application) at any accredited HBCU
-Be Pell grant eligible and have demonstrated financial need as determined by the college/university
of enrollment.
-Be pursuing any of the following majors:
Business Administration, Business Management, Business Related, Engineering, Finance Information
Technology or Supply Chain Management and Logistics
-Be an Exelon utility customer located in any of the following targeted markets:
Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania
