Encouraging Women, Minorities in Construction Industry
Scanlon Excavating & Concrete, Inc. based out of Kankakee in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Transportation is hosting an outreach and networking event on December 1, 2022 at Quality Inn and Suites in Bradley.
The event is aimed at encouraging minorities and female-owned businesses to participate in the construction industry and provide a networking opportunity for anyone interested in becoming a certified minority firm or who is interested in learning more about the services provided by the Illinois Department of Transportation and upcoming infrastructure projects. In addition, Senator Patrick Joyce will be attending to show his support of the program.
