Catalyst Director Pursuing NBIA Certification
Jesse Erickson, Director of Catalyst Innovation Center in Bradley, Illinois, is pursuing an Incubator Management Certificate from the National Business Incubator Association (NBIA). Erickson, who attended the NBIA 29th International Conference on Business Incubation from April 25-29 in Denver, anticipates completing his comprehensive training in focus areas including facility management, marketing, revenue generation, sustainability, intellectual property, entrepreneurial ecosystems and industry clusters this September.
Catalyst Innovation Center, a regional research and entrepreneurship collaborative of Olivet Nazarene University, Riverside Healthcare and the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County, will provide 140,000 sq. ft. of space at Ken Hayes Industrial Park for engineering student projects, corporate R&D, coworking and small business incubation. The facility is slated to open in fall 2015.
