Preparing for Employment
In an effort to assist displaced workers in our community, KCC Workforce Services is helping prepare residents for upcoming job fairs. A total of 5 workshops are planned between July 8th and Aug 4th, with two at the Momence Public Library and the other three at the KCC North Extension Center in Bradley.
- Tuesday July 8th From 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. @ KCC North Extension
- Thursday July 17th From 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. @ KCC North Extension
- Thursday July 24th From 10 a.m. -1 p.m.@ Momence Public Library
- Monday July 28th From 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. @ Momence Public Library
- Monday August 4th From Noon – 3 p.m. @ KCC North Extension
For workshops at Momence Public Library, KCC will provide Laptops in addition to the computers available at the library.
Workshops held at KCC’s North Extension Center will be in our computer lab with access to online software to create a resume draft. The intent is to have community members prepare a resume by the time your Job Fair takes place.
Upcoming job fairs will be communicated once final dates are determined.
