ECONOMIC ALLIANCE OF KANKAKEE COUNTY HONORS GREAT ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPACT IN REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Economic Alliance of Kankakee County seeks to recognize a distinguished individual, business or organization that has demonstrated positive and impactful sustainable development in the region.
“Our community, our region, has grown to what it is today thanks to the dedication and forethought that certain individuals or groups have had. We want to honor that,” said Tim Nugent, President/CEO of the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County.
The IMPACT Award will celebrate the magnitude of past and present investments of time, treasure, and talent to ensure long-lasting growth to the community. The recipient has shown innovation, investment, determination, and commitment over the course of decades. This dedication comes with a vision and ingenuity for economic growth and progress that will continue to have a positive impact for years to come.
“These investments – whether it be building buildings, creating organizations, adding industry to our area or helping our workforce – has left an incredible impression on Kankakee County,” Nugent added. “These are things that happen over time, and will continue to impact generations to come.”
The individual, business, or organization honored by the IMPACT Award exhibits extraordinary accomplishments in leadership, service, entrepreneurship, creativity, and vision, and their work leaves an immense impact on the community that is truly timeless.
Nominations for the IMPACT Award are being accepted by the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County Board of Directors, attention Jeff Hammes, Board Chairman and can be emailed to info@kankakeecountyed.org. The inaugural recipient will be announced later this year.
