HB 2775: What it Means for Landlords

Sponsored by the Kankakee Iroquois Ford Association of Realtors will present a Housing Provider Seminar to discuss HB 2775 and the changes that it will have on the Residential Rental Market.

HB 2775 amends the Illinois Human Rights Act to no longer ask a renter’s source of income on a rental application. HB 2775 was approved by Governor Pritzker in May and will go into effect in January 2023.
