Kankakee County Progress Award nominations sought by Daily Journal

On Wednesday, April 8, 2015, The Daily Journal will honor members of our community with 10 different professional awards celebrating the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship and business success. These awards include:
• Innovator in Education
• Innovator in Healthcare
• Innovator in Social Services
• Innovator in Manufacturing
• Innovator in Agriculture
• Innovator in Technology
• Entrepreneur of the Year
• Small Business of the Year (less than 50 employees)
• Mid-Sized Business of the Year (between 50 and 250 employees)
• Large Business of the Year (more than 250 employees)
These prestigious awards will be presented at the 2nd annual Progress Awards dinner banquet on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the Majestic Theatre in Kankakee. Each winner will have $100 donated by The Daily Journal in
his/her/its name to a favorite charity. Each winner will be also be featured on our website and in one of our Progress special sections, publishing in three consecutive Weekend Editions of The Daily Journal beginning March, 28, 2015.

Nominations should specify which award; nominee’s contact information; a description of why the nominee should be considered, including any examples of innovation, excellence, employee investment, growth/improvement and community service; as well as your contact information.
Nominations will be accepted through Wednesday, March 4, 2015, 5 p.m.
