Bourbonnais is the latest location for the national drive-thru coffee company Scooter’s Coffee. The franchise will be coming to Kankakee County on South Main Street in Bourbonnais, across from the Chicago Dough Company.
Scooter’s Coffee builds small drive-thru kiosks, designed for speed. According to their website, Scooter’s Coffee is one of the nation’s fastest-growing specialty drive-thru companies. It currently has more than 900 stores in 32 states.
Signature drinks include espresso drinks, cold brew, fruit smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries. They use specialty coffee beans roasted by affiliated company Harvest Roasting.
Construction has begun at the Bourbonnais site.
