Nicor Gas Offers HCAV Training Opportunity

Nicor Gas’ Trade Ally Development (TAD) Program is part of their commitment to ensuring that customers have access to skilled trade allies who can meet the demands of the rapidly expanding energy efficiency industry.

The fully virtual, paid TAD program is designed for individual contractors and small business owners working in the energy efficiency trade within the natural gas industry and is designed to provide growth opportunities for diverse contractors who are in traditionally underserved areas. Nicor Gas will provide qualifying diverse contractors with free training and resources to elevate their business.

Among many other benefits, Nicor Gas will assist participants in earning diverse industry certifications, expanding their energy efficiency offerings, creating a business growth plan and marketing their business successfully. While this is a virtual cohort program, we are planning an in-person orientation with dinner and a tour of Nicor Gas’ training facility on Thursday, April 25 and will have an in-person graduation ceremony at Nicor Gas’ headquarters in Naperville.
